The Prime Ministers of Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovenia Mateusz Morawiecki, Petr Fiala and Janez Janša, as well as the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland for Security, the leader of the ruling Law and Justice Party Jarosław Kaczyński, are going to Kyiv

The office of the head of the Polish government informs about it.

As representatives of the European Council, they plan to meet with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.

It is noted that "the trip was organized in agreement with the President of the European Council Charles Michel and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen."

"The purpose of the visit is to confirm the unequivocal support of the entire European Union for the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, as well as to present a broad package of support for the Ukrainian state and society," the statement said.

The visit was reported to the international community through international organizations, including the United Nations, the statement said.

This is the first visit of international guests of this level to Kyiv since the beginning of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine on February 24.
