Explosions in Obolon: a shell hit a nine-story residential building, killing 1

During the airstrike of the Russian occupiers in Kyiv, residential buildings were damaged, apartments are on fire

According to preliminary data, on March 14 at 5:09 am the operational coordination center of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv received a report of a fire that broke out in the Obolon district.

The bodies of 2 people were found at the scene. In addition, 3 people were hospitalized, 9 people were treated on the spot.

SES units rescued 15 people and evacuated 63 people. The search continues.

It was established that as a result of hitting an unknown object there was the partial destruction of the stairwell from 1 to 3 floors and the facade of the house from 1 to 9 floors. In addition, there was a fire in the apartments on the 3rd and 4th floors.

At 07:04 the fire in a nine-story residential building was localized on an area of 500 square meters. Elimination of the fire is currently underway.

9 units of basic and special fire and rescue equipment, as well as 35 rescuers, were involved at the scene.

Earlier on Herashchenko's official Telegram channel, it was reported that explosions erupted at night in the Obolon district of Kyiv. On Bohatyrska street, 20 as a result of an artillery shell hitting a nine-story residential building, there was the partial destruction of apartments from the 1st to the 3rd floor. In particular, apartments on the 3rd and 4th floors caught fire.
