Israel imposes sanctions on Russia
Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid has confirmed that the country is imposing sanctions on Russia.
He wrote about this on his Twitter page.
"Israel will not be a route to bypass sanctions imposed on Russia by the United States & other western countries. The Israeli Foreign Ministry is coordinating the issue together with partners including the Bank of Israel, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy and Industry, the Airports Authority, the Ministry of Energy, and others," Lapid reports.
The country condemned Russia's invasion of Ukraine. They noted that there could be no justification for violating the territorial integrity of the country and killing thousands of citizens.
