Traitors of Melitopol will be responsible not only before the Lord but also before the people's court - Herashchenko
After Russian occupiers kidnapped the mayor of Melitopol, the power in the city passed to collaborators from among local politicians
This was reported by the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Herashchenko in Telegram.
They handed over the city to the Russians. Among them were several opposition deputies of the City Council, a deputy of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council, and the head of a local TV channel.
Herashchenko published the names and photos of the traitors in Telegram. He also told which of them played a role in the seizure of city power:
- Deputy of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council Yevhen Balytskyi was responsible for communication with the Russian Federation and led all processes;
- The deputy of the City Council of Melitopol Halina Danilchenko is appointed by occupiers as acting mayor;
- Deputies of the Melitopol City Council Oleh Bandurin,
- Yurii Onyschuk, Oleksandr Barybin, Danilchenko's deputies;
- Adviser to the Prosecutor General of the "Luhansk People's Republic," Maksim Obukhov is responsible for coordinating the power bloc;
- Deputy of the City Council of Melitopol Oleksandr Falko, coordination of shadow finances and crime;
- Oleh Shostak, head of MTV Plus, is in charge of campaigning.
"I hate traitors who have cooperated with the enemy. I am publishing a list of traitors who will answer not only to the Lord but also to the people's court," Herashchenko wrote.
