Lviv region: enemies fired 8 missiles at Yavoriv test site

Russian occupiers fired 8 missiles at the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security in the village of Starychi, Yavoriv district, Lviv region.

This was reported by the Lviv Regional Military Administration, the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Maksym Kozytskyi, and the mayor of Lviv Andrii Sadovyi, Suspilne.

"The occupiers launched an airstrike on the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security. According to preliminary data, they fired 8 missiles.

Information about the victims is being established," the administration said.

The head of the Lviv region Maksym Kozytskyi also confirmed that the occupying forces carried out an airstrike with missiles on the territory of the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security between 3:00 and 4:00 on Sunday, March 13.

Information about the destruction is being clarified.

Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi called on Facebook not to publish photos and videos from the sites of the shelling.

A spokesman for the Academy of Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Anton Myronovych, told Suspilne that one of the military units in the Lviv region was hit by a missile and bomb.

Previously without casualties.

"According to the latest data, at least there were no 200s. The information is being clarified on 300s. The air defense played a role," Myronovych said.

The International Center for Peacekeeping and Security, better known as the Yavoriv Military Range, is located 30 km northwest of Lviv and about 20 km from the Polish border.
