Israel has officially condemned Russia's invasion of Ukraine
During a visit to Romania, Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid called on Russia to end its military invasion of Ukraine.
This was reported on the official website of the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
"Like Romania, Israel condemns Russia's invasion of Ukraine. It has no justification, so we call on Russia to stop shelling and attacks and sit down at the negotiating table to resolve the conflict," Yair Lapid said.
The Minister assured that Israel was making every effort to help resolve the conflict peacefully. The minister added that together with the United States and the European Union, the Israeli authorities were trying to "put an end to this brutal tragedy as soon as possible."
