Zelenskyy: Ukraine needs anti-missile systems, and it is ready to pay
In Russia's war against Ukraine, the Ukrainian side needs anti-missile systems. And it is ready to pay for the supplies.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in an interview with foreign media.
There are several opportunities to close the sky. There is missile defense that can be provided to Ukraine. Ukraine has found, where it is, in detail, in warehouses in all countries of the world. We did not just ask for help; we asked those who have it. Please. Then we realized that it is difficult to just give tit away. We are ready to buy it, we are ready to take loans, we are ready to withdraw the last money from our budget and give it away immediately," he said.
He also noted that Ukraine was ready to deliver missile defense systems itself.
"Just like with planes. We found planes for which we have pilots. And then we found pilots who are ready to be citizens of our state to help Ukraine," Zelenskyy added.
