Ukrainian IT companies have raised UAH 700 million for army and humanitarian aid
Ukrainian IT companies donated $24.5 million to support Ukraine or more than UAH 700 million
This was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Rubryka reports.
According to the estimates of the IT Ukraine Association, during the first 10 days of the war in Ukraine, Ukrainian IT companies collected:
- $12.1 million for humanitarian purposes (UAH 353.9 million);
- $6.1 million to support the Armed Forces (UAH 178.4 million);
- $6.3 million in taxes in advance (UAH 184.3 million).
On the eve of the war, representatives of Ukrainian businesses united and raised millions of hryvnias to support the army. Some donations amounted to five million hryvnias, including from large Ukrainian IT companies.
