Chernihiv was left without electricity, gas, water, and heating on Saturday morning
This was announced by the head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration Viacheslav Chaus in Telegram, Rubryka reports.
City services are engaged in repairs.
In Chernihiv, missile strikes continue on civilian infrastructure, including with the use of aircraft.
"Civilians are dying, many have been wounded. The enemy is striking where there are no soldiers. Today the enemy struck the Ukraine Hotel. The hotel is no more, but Ukraine is there," he said.
The ruined hotel "Ukraine" is considered one of the landmarks of Chernihiv.
