Because of Russian shelling, part of Luhansk region left without light, heat, and water
As a result of enemy shelling, a number of settlements in the Luhansk region were left without electricity, gas, heating, and water.
The Head of the Luhansk regional military administration Serhii Haidai informs about it on Facebook, Rubryka reports.
"As a result of hostilities, gas pipelines of different diameters and different pressures were damaged or valves at the outlet of the gas-distributing station were closed. 23 settlements were fully and 7 partially without gas supply, a total of about 35,000 subscribers.
As of 8:00 am on March 12, 34 settlements were blacked out, 22 of them completely, 12 partially. 84,873 consumers are without electricity, 523 transformer substations have been disconnected," the statement reads.
In addition, in Severodonetsk, the heat supply to 180 apartment buildings was cut off due to damage to the boiler house of Severodonetskteplokomunenergo heat supply company.
According to the head, there are reports of disruptions in the internal networks of apartment buildings, the service of district heating which is provided by JSC Severodonetsk CHP.
In the city of Lysychansk, due to the lack of electricity and water supply, 11 boilers of the Lysychanskteplomerezha Municipal Enterprise have been suspended.
In addition, the water supply to Popasna and Zolote is partially limited.
Haidai emphasizes that there is no water supply in the villages: Nyzhne, Nyzhne-1, Novotoshkivka (2,180 subscribers) in connection with the fighting and power outages of the Svitlychansk department of Popasna district water supply company.
"There is a partial lack of water supply in the city of Lysychansk (areas of a glass factory, Pereizna, plant microdistricts, Matroska mine), as a result of the shelling, the power line, water pumping station (1st and 2nd rise), Lisova Dacha were damaged and blacked out," the statement said.
