Ukrainian General Staff: the enemy is suffering heavy losses and is already forced to defend itself

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informs about it as of 12:00 on March 11, Rubryka reports.

According to the headquarters, "As a result of active, coordinated actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other components of the defense forces, the enemy suffered significant losses, which forced him to retreat from the previously captured settlements of Kyiv region."

• The enemy was also stopped in the Polissia, Siverskyi, and Pivdennyi Buh operational districts. The enemy has suffered losses and is currently trying to gain a foothold.
• Defenders of Ukraine repelled the enemy in the Donetsk direction during fierce hostilities. The pace of the invaders has slowed.
• The enemy continues to focus its efforts around Kyiv and Mariupol, and also to move in the directions of Kryvyi Rih, Kremenchuk, Nikopol, and Zaporizhzhia.
• The enemy also continues to launch missile and bomb strikes on cities located deep in Ukraine, Dnipro, Lutsk, and Ivano-Frankivsk.

Also, the enemy continues to form reserves to transfer them to areas of hostilities in Ukraine.

• There is an increase in the enemy's air defense system in the Donetsk and Tavria directions.
• In Volyn, there is a threat of sabotage of military and civilian infrastructure.
• In the Polissia direction, the occupiers are not conducting active offensive operations, as they are trying to restore the combat capability of the units.
• In the Siverskyi direction, active offensive operations by the enemy are not carried out. In some areas, the enemy carried out fire raids and conducted reconnaissance of the positions of the Armed Forces.
• In the Slobozhanshchyna's direction, the enemy kept Sumy surrounded, partially blocked Kharkiv from the north, and regrouped troops.
• In the Donetsk and Tavria directions, the occupiers did not stop trying to capture Mariupol and Severodonetsk but were unsuccessful.

The enemy's plans to establish control over Mykolaiv and advance in the directions of Zaporizhzhia and Kryvyi Rih have not been realized.

Due to significant losses, the invaders are forced to turn to defense and try to provide comprehensive support.
