This was announced by the head of the Donetsk regional military administration Pavlo Kyrylenko on Ukrainian television.

He noted that among the injured, there is staff and women in labor.

"Currently, 17 wounded among staff and mothers have been confirmed. So far, 0 children have been confirmed.

As for the victims, the number is also zero," Kyrylenko said.

According to him, the information about the dead civilians is difficult to confirm and keep any statistics.

However, as of the morning of March 9, he had been informed of 1,207 civilian casualties from Mariupol.

At about 4:30 p.m. on March 9, Russian invaders dropped several powerful bombs from planes on a maternity hospital and children's hospital in downtown Mariupol.

Mariupol is under constant fire from aircraft and artillery of the Russian occupation forces.

For more than a week, the occupiers have been surrounding the city and thwarting all attempts to evacuate civilians through "humanitarian corridors."

Representatives of Ukraine have filed a formal lawsuit with the UN International Court of Justice over the commission of war crimes against civilians by Russian occupation forces, including the destruction of hospitals, schools, kindergartens, etc.

On March 8, the occupiers offered the residents of Mariupol to evacuate under the barrels of their machine guns to Rostov-on-Don in Russia.
