This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov in Telegram, Rubryka reports.
According to the company, "We stand with Ukraine and honor the courage of the Ukrainian people."
"VMware is the world's top company for cloud solutions and virtualization. Today, most large IT systems (banks, energy, etc.) use public or private clouds based on VMware," said Fedorov.
According to him, "the company's withdrawal from Russia will mean stopping support in resolving incidents and important updates, which will eventually lead to the impossibility of using modern cloud solutions."
We will remind, on March 7, Fedorov announced that the audit company Deloitte left the Russian Federation.
This is the fourth company in the world's top four auditors to leave Russia.
