Ukrainian Armed Forces control 70% of Irpin city territory
The Armed Forces of Ukraine control 70% of the territory of the city of Irpin near Kyiv.
This was announced by Irpin Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn on Ukraine 24 TV.
"There was information that Irpin was completely under the control of Russian troops. I officially deny it. Russian troops entered 30% of our city. But the rest is under the control of our Armed Forces. Irpin is holding on and can be compared to the Donetsk airport, and the defenders of the city, with the 'cyborgs,'" said Markushyn.
He reminded that from now on at 10 o'clock every morning the residents of the city are evacuated by bus across the Romaniskyi Bridge.
