A special unit of International Legion formed in Ukraine
A special unit of the International Legion has been set up under the auspices of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
A special unit of the International Legion is already performing combat missions.
"Ukraine continues to form the International Legion of Defense of Ukraine. To date, volunteers and veterans from 52 countries have expressed a desire to join it. Their number has already exceeded 20,000. These are mostly experienced fighters who have participated in many peacekeeping campaigns around the world," it is told in the message.

The first British volunteers who are ready to fight for Ukraine against the Russian army are already arriving in Ukraine.
On February 27, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the formation of a new unit, the International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine, which would be composed of foreigners ready to fight back against the Russian occupiers together with the Ukrainians.
