Russia begins active preparations for disconnection from the Internet
Russia is preparing to disconnect its network from the Internet. Relevant documents have already been prepared by the Ministry of Finance of Russia.
Documents of the Digital Ministry of the Russian Federation were published by the ZaTelecom Telegram channel.
Russia plans to completely disconnect from the World Wide Web on March 11. And it has already started sending relevant documents, government telegrams, to all owners of telecommunication services (portals, resources, sites).
According to the documents, all servers and domains in Russia must be transferred to the Russian zone from March 11. Detailed data on the site's network infrastructure should also be collected.
If you use foreign hosting, move public resources to Russian hosting. Move all public resources that are in another domain zone, if possible, to the ru. domain zone.
The company must notify the Digital Ministry of the Russian Federation of the measures taken no later than March 15. If there are refusals, also report them.
