Catapult for throwing "Molotov cocktails" created in Lutsk

In Lutsk, volunteers created a catapult to throw "Molotov cocktails" and named it "JaVolyna" (name composed of "javelin" and "Volyn" – ed.)

Pavlo Tsapiuk, one of the developers, posted a video of the people's know-how on Facebook.

"JaVolyna. When you can't sleep. It works," Tsapiuk wrote.

The catapult is currently being tested. Thanks to this invention, "Molotov cocktails" can be thrown with greater accuracy and over long distances (so far only 10-15 meters). In the future, they want to test a more powerful charge.

As the mayor of Lutsk Ihor Polishchuk noted, the city is well supplied with "Molotov cocktails." According to official estimates, more than seven thousand of them were made, but there can be even more, as some people made their own inflammatory mixtures and keep them at home.
