The head of the region Oleh Sinehubov announced it in Telegram, Rubryka reports.
According to the letter, on the night of March 7, servicemen from the National Guard of the Kharkiv region managed to detain the pilot of the downed Russian fighter.
"As an enemy pilot, he is the deputy commander of the air regiment stationed in Voronezh. He is one of the main participants and witnesses of the crimes committed by the Russian aggressor against the peaceful Ukrainian population," the statement said.
According to Sinehubov, the Russian pilot made 3 flights between Izium and Balaklia. He has already handed over his coordinators and told them about the criminal orders.
According to the leader, the Russian military was transferred to one of the district police departments of Kharkiv for further investigation.
"There were two pilots of the enemy plane, both alive. One still manages to hide in the city. The search continues.
Our military continues to defend Kharkiv! We do not retreat a single meter," Sinehubov stressed.
