Fountains on Independence Square resume work and will perform Ukrainian national anthem every morning

The fountains on Maidan Nezalezhnosti have resumed work since March 7, but not as usual.
This was reported to Vechirniy Kyiv by Yurii Kovtun, head of the fountains department of the Kyivvodfond specialized water utility company.
According to him, the fountains will not work in the evening light and music show mode.
Instead, the fountains will perform the Ukrainian national anthem every morning.
The anthem of Ukraine will also be played on the main square of Kyiv in the afternoon.
It will be recalled that fountains in Kyiv traditionally resume work in the spring, but later in May.
Про це повідомив виданню «Вечірній Київ» начальник відділу роботи фонтанів спеціалізованого водогосподарського комунального підприємства «Київводфонд» Юрій Ковтун.
За його словами, у режимі вечірнього світло-музичного шоу фонтани поки не працюватимуть.
Натомість водограї щоранку виконуватимуть гімн України.
Також гімн України лунатиме на головній площі Києва вдень.
Нагадаємо, традиційно фонтани у Києві відновлюють роботи навесні, але пізніше – у травні.
