Putin says he’s not against IAEA-Russia-Ukraine meeting

The president of the occupying country, Vladimir Putin, told French President Emmanuel Macron that he was not opposed to the IAEA-Russia-Ukraine meeting.

This is stated in a statement by the Kremlin, quoted by Ria Novosti.

Putin said he was not against a meeting in this format, but not in Chornobyl, but by video conference or in a third country.

The president of the occupying country also discussed with Macron the state of affairs regarding the negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.

Allegedly, Putin expressed readiness to "continue the dialogue."

Towards the night of March 4, the Kadyrovites, a unit of the Russian guard, opened fire and fired on the ZNPP building, setting it on fire. The threat of a nuclear catastrophe was announced at the station.

Later, ZNPP came under the control of the Russian occupation forces of Kadyrovites.

On February 24, Russian troops seized the Chornobyl nuclear power plant.
