Kuleba calls on EU and G7 countries to impose new sanctions on Russia
Additional sanctions must be imposed on the Russian Federation to finally clamp down on the Russian economy and end Putin's war in Ukraine.
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba during a telethon, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
"Today, I have signed letters to all foreign ministers of the European Union, the G7 and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs with a specific list of sanctions that Ukraine is waiting for, which are necessary to finally pinch the Russian economy and stop the war in Ukraine," Kuleba said.
He also stressed that he would work with each country "to ensure that these new sanctions are applied."
Earlier, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called on the Georgian authorities to publicly distance themselves from Russia's decision to lift several trade sanctions against Georgia.
