Arestovych: Kyiv is negotiating the evacuation from Bucha and Hostomel
Ukrainian authorities are negotiating the evacuation of Hostomel and Bucha in the Kyiv region, which is constantly shelled by Russian troops
This was announced by the adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksii Arestovych on TV channels.
As he noted, "now this issue is being discussed at the highest level with international humanitarian institutions, through mediators with the Russians to give away out of Bucha and Hostomel.
The enemy practically captured Bucha and Hostomel. They are actually holding our residents hostage there. And they surrounded Mariupol… As for the green corridors, I think this issue will be resolved."
In Hostomel and Bucha, Ukrainian troops withdrew so as not to endanger peaceful homes.
The Russians took advantage of this and went there. Many injured children are not allowed to be evacuated. Children sit in basements.
According to Arestovych, in the northwest of Kyiv, the enemy is "finally confused" and there the Ukrainian troops inflict both missile and airstrikes on them, and the ground forces hold back…
"Irpin is geographically a dead end, the Russians have nothing to do there. If they look closely at the map, they will understand that Irpin is not an option," said an adviser to the head of the OP.
According to Arestovych, "the defense is being carried out successfully in the hotspots, and civilians must be taken out."
To recap, the head of the Kyiv regional military administration Oleksiii Kuleba reported that they couldn't evacuate people from Bucha and Hostomel near Kyiv.
According to locals, the occupiers are even shooting civilians.
The Bucha City Council reported that Russian troops continued to ruthlessly fire on houses in Bucha and kill civilians.
On the first day of the war, Hostomel and the Antonov airfield became the epicenter of attacks by Russian troops near Kyiv.
