Occupiers seized City Council in Enerhodar
In Enerhodar, Russian invaders smashed a window, crept into the City Council building, and locked themselves inside
The mayor of the city Dmytro Orlov reported about it, Rubryka reports.
According to the statement, "At 8.00 the city authorities came to work in full force, but we could not get into the city hall building.
The occupiers locked the door. We will organize another place to work to ensure the viability of Enerhodar under occupation. Nevertheless, Enerhodar was and remains Ukraine."
The City Council will work in the pizzeria but emphasizes that under the Ukrainian flag.
"We have to work in the premises provided to us by the owner of the pizzeria (thank you!). But, one way or another, the local authorities are working under the flags of Ukraine. We can't not work because today the utilities work, because tonight our guys were on duty in the yards, patrolling to avoid looting, and will continue to do so, as long as it is:
a) required
b) possible.
A few days of forced contact with representatives of the Russian military, and I want to draw my own conclusions:
I am sure that although today we have tanks and a nuclear power plant under the control of Russian troops, we have already won this war. I'm convinced that Ukraine will always be Ukraine!" Orlov wrote.
