According to the SES, 30 fires have been registered in the region over the past 24 hours. Of these, 29 were caused by shelling (22 in the residential sector, 7 in the housing sector). 4 people were rescued, 1 person was injured and 1 died.
A total of 124 fires have occurred since the beginning of hostilities. 75 of them were the result of shelling.
37 people died, 29 were rescued (including 10 children).
"According to the operative information of the health care institutions, 17 people died as a result of the shelling during the day.
13 people were injured," the statement said.
According to Chernihivoblenergo JSC, about 200 settlements of the region remain without electricity supply due to hostilities.
