"Green Corridor": The mayor of Kherson asks journalists for help

Kherson Mayor Ihor Kolykhaiev asks journalists to help prevent a humanitarian catastrophe in the city
The mayor of Kherson Ihor Kolykhaiev stated on Facebook, Rubryka reports.
"To the attention of all media: Kherson, regional, all-Ukrainian, world media! To all journalists who know me, who love Kherson, root for its fate. PLEASE use your power and help us get a "green corridor" to evacuate the wounded and the dead, transport medicines and food to the city. Without this, the city will perish!" Kolykhaiev stressed.
The mayor also noted that he counts on the friendly participation of journalists and their ties not only with Ukrainian but also with world politicians.
"Help Kherson get the opportunity to save its people from an impending humanitarian catastrophe!" the mayor summed up.
