As of 6:00 a.m. on March 2, the 7th day of the Russian war in Ukraine, the enemy is trying to advance in all directions, but is repelled by defenders everywhere and suffers losses.

"The seventh day of the heroic opposition of the Ukrainian people to the Russian invasion continues.

Unsuccessful in advancing its forces, the enemy insidiously continues to launch the missile and bomb strikes on critical infrastructure in order to intimidate the civilian population, which is courageously side by side with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The occupiers have losses in all directions," the statement said.

In the Podilsk direction, the enemy is trying to continue the offensive on the border of Horenichi, Hostomel, Demidov in the direction of Kyiv with the help of 13 battalion tactical groups еo block the capital from the northern and north-western directions.

In the northern direction, up to 17 battalion tactical groups of the occupying forces, despite the loss of manpower and equipment, continue offensive operations to block Kyiv from the northeast. The invaders were stopped in the areas of Kozelets, Bobrovytsia, and Makiiv.

In the other direction, in the areas of the settlements Svitilnia, Peremoha, and Hostroluchcha, the enemy troops lost their offensive potential.

In the Zhytomyr region, there are up to 3 battalion tactical groups from the 5th All-Russian Army.

Enemy troops with forces up to 2 battalion tactical groups make unsuccessful attempts to keep the heroic Ukrainian cities of Sumy, Lebedyn and Okhtyrka surrounded.

In the Slobozhanske direction, up to 16 battalion tactical groups continue the offensive operation in the direction of Krasnograd and part of the forces up to 4 battalion tactical groups on Izium. The invader suffered casualties. He was stopped near the settlements of Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv, Shevchenkove.

In the Donetsk direction, without success, the aggressor focused on blocking the city of Mariupol.

In the Tavriia direction, the enemy continues its offensive operations in the areas of the settlements of Skadovsk, Hola Prystan, Kherson, Snihurivka, and Nova Kakhovka. After regrouping he continues to move in the direction of Kherson and Mykolayiv. Up to 2 battalion tactical groups operate in the areas of settlements Vasylivka, Chervone Pole, Novopetrivka.

In the Black Sea Operational Zone, the enemy deploys a naval group and continues preparations for a naval landing operation.

The General Staff stressed that the morale of the enemy and their will to win is rapidly declining due to the steady defense of our troops.
