Government simplifies rules for importing humanitarian aid

The Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday simplified the rules for importing humanitarian aid to Ukraine

This was announced by Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Mustafa Naiem, Rubryka reports.

Because of this, several countries are ready to allow Ukrainian vehicles without international permits.

"From today, the procedure for passing humanitarian aid across the border will be simplified as much as possible. The decision was made by the Government a few hours ago," he wrote on his Facebook page.

Thus, during martial law, it is only necessary to fill in a form to import humanitarian aid across the customs border.

"The State Customs Service and the State Border Guard Service have been instructed to ensure the immediate passage of humanitarian aid across the state border during martial law," the statement said.

At the same time, he noted, queues would still take place, as the number of humanitarian cargoes is growing.

Naiem also said that Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, and Turkey have already confirmed their readiness to allow Ukrainian vehicles without international permits, which simplifies the logistics of humanitarian and military-technical assistance to Ukraine.

And Germany, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Austria will provide free travel to all citizens of Ukraine by their own railways.
