Moscow police detained children who came to lay flowers at Ukrainian embassy
In Moscow, police detained two women and their young children as they came to lay flowers at the Ukrainian embassy holding placards against the war.
This was announced by a senior researcher at the Russian Academy of National Economy and Civil Service under Russian President Aleksandr Arkhipov on FB, as well as Meduza.
"Kateryna Zavizion and her friend Olha Alter and their children (Sofia Gladkova, 7, Lisa Gladkova, 11, Gosha Petrov, 11, Matvey, 9, and David Petrov, 7) went to lay flowers at the Ukrainian embassy on March 1.
The children drew a poster and went with them. All of them were detained by the police, first kept in a paddy wagon, then brought to the Presnenske police department," the statement reads.
