Armed Forces strengthening on Horlivka outskirts and preparing to develop an offensive - OP
One of the brigades of the Ukrainian army is fortifying itself on the outskirts of Horlivka, Donetsk region, which has been under the control of the occupiers since 2014, and plans to develop an offensive on the city, the Office of the President assured.
This was stated by the adviser to the head of the President's Office Oleksii Arestovych at a briefing in the OPU.
"Joint Forces Operation zone. There is good news. Most of our units hold their positions, and one of our brigades even advanced on the outskirts of Horlivka. Now they are strengthening there and may develop an offensive. For the first time in seven days of the war, our units went on the offensive in a separate direction. I think this is not the last offensive, not the last counterattack. The time will soon come when we will liberate our land, not just defend it," he said.
Arestovych also said that the Russian military continued to focus its efforts and groups in the north-western direction of Kyiv in order to develop an offensive on the Ukrainian capital.
However, he assured that due to the systematic work of the Armed Forces, the attackers will not be able to do so.
