Police in Kyiv uncovered five saboteurs in metro
In Kyiv, National Police operatives exposed five saboteurs at a metro station.
Currently, metro stations operate as a shelter for civil defense. That is why the police carefully carry out security measures around the clock.
Thus, at one of the capital's metro stations, operatives of the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine found men who behaved suspiciously.
During a thorough search of the items, police found a toy in one of the saboteurs, in which ammunition was hidden.
His comrade, a Belarusian citizen, also had ammunition with him.
In addition, at the same station, National Police operatives found an enemy saboteur who was transmitting positions of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the enemy via messengers.
Also, at the metro station, citizens complained to the police about the suspicious behavior of two men.
During the inspection, law enforcement officers found and confiscated ammunition, equipment from four shops, a bolt-on bolt to an AK-74 Kalashnikov assault rifle, a bayonet knife, and five cubes of narcotics.
In the subway, the saboteurs allegedly came to spend the night and hide from airstrikes.
The detainees were handed over to SBU officers for further investigation.
