My team is around the city: DO NOT BE AFRAID OF THE ENEMY
Chernihiv Mayor Vladyslav Atroshenko appealed to Chernihiv residents.
He notes he respects and appreciates the courage of Chernihiv residents!
I call for self-organization:
- to do whatever is necessary and possible for effective defense,
- to help the wounded,
- to comply with the requests of the military of the Armed Forces.
"My team is around the city: DO NOT BE AFRAID OF THE ENEMY!!
Soldiers of the Territorial Defense, the general team, DO NOT LET FLY!!
If armored vehicles of the Russian Federation break through, they are less dangerous in the city than in the field against infantry. If you hear loud noises, DO NOT BE AFRAID.
CHOOSE POSITIONS: RUN TO THE SIDE, TREAT THEM WITH A COCKTAIL AND RUN AWAY!!
OUR ANCESTORS NEVER RUN FROM THE ENEMY!! RUSSIA WILL PAY DEARLY FOR THIS CRIME!! WE WILL NOT GIVE UP CHERNIHIV!!"
I give UAH 150 thousand for an armored personnel carrier burned in Chernihiv; 200 thousand, for APC; 250 thousand per tank; $300 for the head of a living or dead soldier of the Russian Federation," the mayor emphasized.
To recap, the enemy is mercilessly shelling Chernihiv.
They fired on areas of the city with dense multi-story residential buildings.
