Dozens of Ukrainian soldiers killed during military unit shelling in Okhtyrka - Head of Regional State Administration
In Okhtyrka, Sumy region, enemy artillery fired on a military unit, killing about 70 Ukrainian soldiers.
This was stated by the head of the Sumy Regional State Administration Dmytro Zhyvytskyi.
"Yesterday, enemy artillery covered the military unit. We continue to get the bodies out from under the rubble. SES and volunteers work. Many died. At the moment, places are being prepared in the cemetery for about 70 dead Ukrainian soldiers," he said.
Zhyvytskyi clarified that data on the dead were being prepared. He also stressed that "the enemy also gets what he deserves."
"There were a lot of Russians in the city we are collecting. Employees of the Red Cross are taking them home," said the head of the Sumy Regional State Administration.
