About 660,000 Ukrainian refugees have gone abroad since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

This was reported by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

According to the latest UN data, about 660,000 refugees have fled Ukraine to neighboring countries in the last six days.

At this rate, the situation could become the biggest refugee crisis in 21st century Europe, and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is mobilizing resources to respond as quickly and effectively as possible.

All neighboring countries continue to keep their borders open to refugees fleeing Ukraine. Most of them went to Poland, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Slovakia, and other European countries. It is also known that a significant number of Ukrainian refugees have moved to Russia.

Those who crossed the border with Poland say they spent up to 60 hours at the border, and queues of up to 20 hours to enter Romania.

UNHCR has called on neighboring governments to continue to support access to the territory for all those fleeing the war: Ukrainians and third-country nationals living in Ukraine.
