UEFA excludes Russian national football teams and clubs from participating in all championships
The International Football Federation and UEFA have excluded Russian national football teams and clubs from participating in any competition under their auspices.
This is stated on the UEFA website.
Following initial decisions, FIFA and UEFA have jointly decided that all Russian teams, whether national teams or club teams, will be suspended from FIFA and UEFA tournaments until further notice.
Football is fully united and in solidarity with all victims in Ukraine.
"Both the presidents (FIFA and UEFA) hope that the situation in Ukraine will improve significantly and quickly so that football can once again become a vector of unity and peace between people," the statement said.
