"What your president is saying is a lie," Kvien adressed the Russians

US CDA Kristina Kvien has recorded a video address to the Russians asking them to help end the war
The video address was published by the US Embassy in Ukraine.
As the CDA stressed, "what your president says is a lie. Ukrainians are not attacking Russia."
She appealed to Russian mothers and fathers whose children were sent to kill Ukrainians on their land.
"I have lived in Russia and I know that Russians love and protect their families. Ukrainians are the same. Like you, they want to live in a peaceful country where their children can prosper.
Russia is stealing this opportunity from Ukraine – this crime is below the dignity of Russians, " Kvien said.
"I urge you to do everything possible to stop President Putin's unnecessary war and save Russian and Ukrainian children.
God bless the people of Ukraine and the people of Russia," she concluded.
