Stoltenberg: NATO doesn't intend to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has so far ruled out a no-fly zone over Ukraine. He notes that Russia has resolved a "brutal conflict" against Ukraine.

He stated this in his interview with NBC News.

"We have no intention of entering Ukraine, neither on land nor in the airspace," he said.

According to him, Russia is waging a "brutal conflict" against Ukraine and NATO has a responsibility to ensure that it doesn't escalate into a full-scale war in Europe.

It should be noted that the no-fly zone implies that NATO could deploy its forces in such a way that Russia could not support its offensive against Ukraine from the air.
