China calls for respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries
The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on to respect and uphold the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries.

"The sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries should be respected and upheld, and the goals and principles of the UN Charter should be shared. This is a principle that China has consistently adhered to and a basic norm governing international relations that all countries must adhere to," he said.

They called for efforts to reject the Cold War mentality and to create an effective European security mechanism through dialogue and negotiation.
The diplomat noted that Beijing recognizes "special historical difficulties in the Ukrainian issue and Russia's legitimate security concerns."
