Croatia will provide Ukraine with weapons and protective gears worth €16.5 million
At the request of Kyiv, Croatia will send Ukraine infantry weapons and means of protection worth € 16.5 million.
Croatian Defense Minister Mario Banozic stated according to Total Croatia News.
Croatia has decided to satisfy Ukraine's request for armaments and send it in numbers sufficient for 4 brigades.
"These are rifles and machine guns of the calibers requested by the Ukrainian side," the minister said after a government meeting to discuss military aid to Ukraine.
The total worth of the weapon is 16.5 million euros.
Croatia also plans to deploy up to 10 soldiers to NATO's Rapid Reaction Force. Banozic refused to disclose more information about the soldiers for this mission.
According to him, the authorities are monitoring the situation in the region, and according to the results of intelligence, the protection of military facilities has been raised to a higher level.
