More than 400 mercenaries sent to Kyiv to kill Zelenskyy, media reported
There are more than 400 mercenaries in Kyiv, who were ordered by the Kremlin to assassinate President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his government and to prepare the ground for Russia's seizure of power.
The Times reported this.
"Wagner Group, a private military company run by one of President Putin's closest allies, oligarch Yevgeny Prigozhin, sent mercenaries from Africa five weeks ago on a mission to assassinate Zelenskyy's government in return for a hefty fee," the media reported.
It is stated that information about their plan reached the Ukrainian government on Saturday morning, and in a few hours, Kyiv announced a 36-hour "severe" curfew to clear the city of Russian saboteurs.
The city authorities have warned civilians that anyone who takes to the streets during the curfew will be considered Kremlin agents and may be eliminated.
