Ukraine sent a lawsuit against Russia to the International Court of Justice in The Hague due to military aggression against Ukraine
Zelensky wrote about this on Twitter.
As he noted, "Ukraine officially sent a lawsuit against the Russian Federation to the International Court of Justice in The Hague."
"We demand that Russia be held accountable for distorting the concept of genocide to justify aggression. We ask the court to immediately order the Russian Federation to stop hostilities and schedule hearings as early as next week," Zelensky stressed.
As Rubryka reported, Zelensky said that Russia's actions against Ukraine have signs of genocide and reach the level of an international tribunal. He also insists on depriving the Russian Federation of the right to vote in the UN Security Council.
