"Chaos and complete lawlessness": in occupied Melitopol occupiers looted 11 “ATB” stores
In the Ukrainian city of Melitopol captured by the occupiers, 11 "ATB" stores located in the city were looted. In addition to grocery stores, the city's jewelry stores, and clothing stores have become victims of looting by occupiers, reports "ATB" website.
"Chaos and lawlessness reign. Non-Slavic people and crowds of locals are taking goods out of stores, destroying property. Food carts and shopping baskets are scattered all over the city. Jewelry stores, shops with equipment and clothes have also been opened and looted", the message goes.
Borys Markov, CEO of "ATB", called on Ukrainians to maintain their human image without resorting to looting.
"Let's stay human! Behave with dignity and respect in difficult circumstances! Do not panic, do not spread fear and aggression. The war will eventually be over. Let's not turn into pathetic monsters, shyly hiding their eyes! Keep calm and endure", Markov wrote on Facebook.
We remind, earlier the "ATB" retail chain declared that it does everything possible to support the work of shops in those locations where the current military situation allows.
The retail chain has sufficient stockpiles, but due to ongoing hostilities and roadblocks, delivery difficulties may arise.
