The United Kingdom intends to impose sanctions on Putin and Lavrov
On February 25th, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson urged NATO to take immediate action against Russia and disconnect it from the interbank SWIFT payment system.
Johnson reports this on his Twitter.
"This afternoon, I urged NATO leaders to take immediate action against SWIFT to inflict maximum pain on President Putin and his regime," said Boris Johnson.
The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom also announced sanctions against Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in addition to the restrictions already announced.
