Estonia will allocate almost 352 thousand euros for humanitarian aid to the people of eastern Ukraine

The Estonian Foreign Ministry will provide 351,700 euros in humanitarian aid to Ukraine to support people living near Ukraine's eastern border and help the country prepare for a possible migration crisis.
The ERR reported this.
According to Estonian Foreign Minister Eva-Maria Liimets, eight years of armed conflict in eastern Ukraine have exacerbated the humanitarian crisis, and it needs constant international attention and support.
"The conflict has affected the lives of almost five million people, more than three million of whom are in need of humanitarian assistance. For many residents, the problem is the lack of medical care and utilities such as electricity, water, and heating," she said.
"These problems are exacerbated in the current difficult security situation, so we decided to support Ukraine with additional humanitarian aid to help alleviate the suffering of people living near the border," Liimets added.
