Several members of NATO's Bucharest Nine said that in response to Ukraine's request, solutions were being prepared to help strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities, cyber defense, and economic stability.

This was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine after the participation of Minister Dmytro Kuleba in the ministerial meeting of the Bucharest Nine.

The Bucharest Nine is an international initiative of nine NATO members in the Central European region. It includes Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.

It is noted that at the meeting, Ukraine and its partners coordinated steps to implement a comprehensive package to deter Russia from a new wave of aggression, which includes political, economic, and security dimensions.

"Several members of the Bucharest Nine of NATO have informed that, at the request of our state, they are preparing solutions that will help strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities, cyber defense, and economic stability," the Foreign Ministry said.

This was the first participation of the head of Ukrainian diplomacy in the activities of this political and security format of cooperation between the member states of NATO's eastern flank.

The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of France Jean-Yves Le Drian as a special guest.

As reported, the European Union plans to quickly allocate a new tranche of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine, if the conditions of the previous macro-financial package are met.
