Polish Sejm calls on NATO and the EU governments to provide full support to Ukraine

Poland called on the governments of NATO and the EU to fully support Ukraine

Rubryka reported this, citing the Onet.

"We call on the governments of NATO and the EU to provide full support to Ukraine, which is at war. The Sejm of the Republic of Poland expresses its disagreement with the policy of the Russian Federation, which violates international law," the Polish Sejm said in a resolution.

PiS, KO, Lewica PSL, and Koło Polska 2050 announced their support for the draft resolution during the plenary debate.

After the vote, the applause was heard in the plenary hall of the Sejm.

Earlier, the Sejm Committee adopted a draft resolution calling on NATO and European Union member states to support Ukraine in the face of action and possible aggression by the Russian Federation.

The draft was created based on a parliamentary draft resolution of the left and a draft submitted by the Presidium of the Sejm.

In a vote on Thursday, the draft resolution was supported by 456 deputies, opposed only by Confederate MP Grzegorz Braun. No one refrained.

The resolution states that "the Sejm of the Republic of Poland is anxiously watching the actions of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. These activities pose a serious risk of provoking armed conflict and destabilizing Europe, which harms the interests of the Republic of Poland."

"The Sejm of the Republic of Poland expresses its disagreement with the policy of the Russian Federation, which violates international law and destroys order and peace in Europe," the Sejm resolution reads.
