The US response formed to Russia's "proposals" concerning Ukraine doesn't cause objections - Kuleba
The United States' written response to Russia's "proposals" for security guarantees in Europe in the part concerning Ukraine is not objectionable.
Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated this at an online briefing, Ukrinform reports.
"It (Ukraine's position) is taken into account, and the proposals that the United States will send to Russia in part of Ukraine don't cause our objections," Kuleba said.
He noted that in the Ukraine-US-Russia triangle, the Ukrainian side continued to coordinate closely with our allies and partners, both in the context of consolidated resistance to Russian aggression and in light of the US and NATO responses to Russian ultimatums.
"We know very well what our partners will tell the Russian Federation; we know all this and it's coordinated with us," the head of Ukrainian diplomacy assured.
US State Department spokesperson Ned Price reportedly told at a briefing on Tuesday that the United States had responded in writing to Russia's "proposals" for security guarantees in Europe, taking into account the positions of all allies and partners in Europe, including Ukraine. He also said that the document had not been sent to Moscow yet, and assured that as soon as it happens, the US State Department will officially inform about it.
As previously reported, after meeting with the Russian Foreign Minister in Geneva on January 21, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that the American side would provide a written response to Moscow's so-called "proposals" of Russians on security guarantees in Europe.
