Russia's military blackmail against Ukraine: People's Deputies will consider Rada's appeal to international organizations today
At a plenary session on January 25, the People's Deputies plan to consider the appeal of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to international parliaments, governments, and organizations on the unacceptability of military blackmail against Ukraine by the Russian Federation.
This is on the agenda of the Rada.
Thus, the draft resolution "On the Address of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the United Nations, the European Parliament, Governments and Parliaments of Foreign States and Parliamentary Assemblies of International Organizations on the unacceptability of military blackmail against Ukraine by the Russian Federation, which it carries out in order to prevent the realization of Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations"(№6543) is scheduled for consideration as the fifth issue.
Prior to that, the parliamentarians intend to unblock the signing of the laws "On effective management of property rights of copyright holders and (or) related rights" to ensure the collection of income from collective management organizations" (№ 5572) by the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada and the President and "On National Commission for State Regulation of Electronic Communications, Radio Frequency Spectrum and Provision of Postal Services"(№6055), rejecting draft resolutions on their abolition. People's Deputies also plan to establish a parliamentary Temporary Special Commission to review possible oath violations by the Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights (draft resolution №6322).
In addition, the draft law "On Compulsory Accumulative Pension Provision" (№2683) is proposed on the agenda for consideration in the repeated first reading.
In turn, in the second reading, it is planned to consider the drafts "On Amendments to the Criminal Code of Ukraine to establish liability for forgery of documents related to preventive vaccinations" (№6084), "On Amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the Law Consideration in the second reading by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine"(№3415), "On Amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses regarding the powers of higher specialized courts to hear cases on administrative offenses" (№5490).
