Ukroboronprom increased production by almost a quarter
According to the results of 2021, Ukroboronprom's enterprises increased the production of armaments, military equipment, and other products by 24%
Thus, for 12 months of last year, the Concern's enterprises produced UAH 7.6 billion more than in 2020, according to the press service of Ukroboronprom, Rubryka reports.
In 2021, the largest amount of aircraft and equipment was produced, in the amount of UAH 15.7 billion.
This is UAH 4.1 billion or 36% more than in 2020.
It is noted that the production of high-precision weapons and ammunition has also increased. This is UAH 2.2 billion or 34% more than last year.
Production of naval equipment in 2021 increased by 19%.
Production of armored vehicles in 2021 remained at the level of 2020: UAH 5.7 billion.
In total, the Concern's enterprises manufactured, modernized, restored, and repaired more than 3,300 weapons and military equipment last year.
At the same time, in 2021, as part of the implementation of state target programs, the Concern's enterprises received UAH 705 million for the development of their production facilities, including the purchase of new equipment.
"In 2021, Ukroboronprom's enterprises increased production by 24%. We responsibly armed our army and fulfilled foreign economic contracts.
However, despite the increase in production volumes for our foreign partners, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been, are, and will be a key customer for the Concern's enterprises," said Ihor Fomenko, Deputy General Director for Production of Ukroboronprom.
