The UK to assist Ukraine in preparing Joint Forces Command

The Commands of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the United Kingdom agreed on a joint response to existing military threats.

Lieutenant-General Serhii Naiev, Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, held a working meeting with the Chief of Staff of the Joint Forces of the United Kingdom, Brigadier General Jo Butterfill.
Naiev informed his British counterpart about the security situation in Ukraine and around its state borders.
The parties agreed on exchanging information on the situation in Ukraine's threatening areas, as well as a joint response to existing military threats.
"To gain full operational capabilities, we need your advisory and expert assistance on the work of the Joint Operations Center during the operation, as well as on planning the enemy's fire damage in the operation and the peculiarities of its conduct in the British Armed Forces and the British Armed Forces, as well as in NATO member states," Naiev said.
According to him, the Command of the Joint Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces appreciates the strategic relations with Great Britain and comprehensive assistance in counteracting Russian aggression.
For his part, Butterfill stated the readiness of the British party to expand practical assistance in training the operational staff of the Joint Forces Command.
"We're determined to further develop our cooperation, as well as to share the experience gained in the course of hostilities," he said.
According to Naiev, today Ukraine and the United Kingdom face arduous tasks and challenges.
"But the relations between Ukraine and Great Britain have proven many times that when we are together, we can achieve amazing results together," said the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
