The most massive carol performance in Ukraine recorded in Ivano-Frankivsk region

On January 9, a new record of the most massive carol performance was set in the village of Pidhiria, Ivano-Frankivsk region. The song "New Joy" was sung by almost 4.5 thousand people.

A total of 4,471 people sang carols. The event was attended by representatives of the Book of Records of Ukraine, who officially recorded this achievement. Participants were counted according to the forms at the box office, where people registered.

According to the representative of the Book of Records of Ukraine Tetiana Rozvadovska, the previous record was set in 2017 in Drohobych, Lviv region, where 828 people sang carols.

Rozvadovska also said that Ukraine had a record for the most massive performance of Mykola Leontovych's song "Shchedryk": 3.5 thousand people.
